What I do at UK Biobank
I am the Centre Manager for the Reading Imaging Centre. I am responsible for the daily operations of the Imaging Centre and its staff ensuring that we capture good quality data while providing a positive experience for our participants. Our Imaging Centre is proud to play a pivotal role in obtaining high quality imaging data as part of the largest imaging data collection project of its kind in the world.

Who am I?
I have been involved with healthcare in one form or another since I started my career as a Medical Secretary many years ago! I progressed to Operations Management within the NHS with specific interest in cardiology, respiratory, diabetes and Renal services. I have also been a Practice Manager within the GP sector and even ran my own Electrical Contracting Company for a number of years predominantly working within hospitals and other healthcare settings.
