PCC Team Leader

During my time at UK biobank, I have been consistently supported and encouraged, giving me the confidence to take on new responsibilities. The company has great employee benefits, enables a healthy work-life balance and is generally a great place to work. 

I joined UK Biobank in a temporary position initially for 3 months in 2019, I quickly recognised it was an organisation I was proud to say I worked for and strived to secure a permanent position. Fast forward 3 years, I am now a team leader for the PCC. My role is to supervise a team of PCC Advisors to provide first line participant contact and associated participant administration, and support the PCC Manager and Deputy Manager to deliver a high quality service. 

Research UK Biobank but don’t be put off by the science; whilst we are amazingly proud of what we do, we can only do that because we have a team from diverse backgrounds that bring practical, transferrable skills and experience with them.
